Remarks A pelagic species which occurs in the continental shelf (Ref. 7300). Prefers rocky and coral reef areas, but also found on offshore banks (Ref. 30573). Present in seagrass beds at adult stage (Ref. 41878). Found in large schools (Ref. 9710). Feeds on small invertebrates and fish (Ref. 5213). Piscivore (Ref. 41878).
