Remarks Occurs inshore (Ref. 75154). Demersal. Dwells in shallow tidal pools. Feeds on corals, sea urchins, gastropods, fish eggs and larvae. Forms groups composed of a terminal male and primary phase invididuals. Terminal male reportedly strongly territorial (Ref. 9773).
