Remarks Inhabits rivers and flooded areas at altitudes 135 to 334 m asl, in areas with gentle slope and sandy or clay bottoms. Found in waters with high turbidity (316 mg/l total solids) to slightly clear, with pH 6.7-8.6, conductivity 117.5-387 ?S/cm, oxygen concentration between 0.9 and 8.76 mg/l, with 20 to 83% saturation, and temperature 25-30.7°C (Ref. 128488).
