Anmärkningar Benthic; feeds on bottom invertebrates and fishes (Ref. 58426). Parasites of the species include a protozoan, Trichodina sp.; copepod, Tanypleurus alcicornis (causes extensive gill infection) and a piroplasm, Haemohormidium beckeri (Ref. 5951).
