Remarks Occurs in lotic sections of rivers and also lakes. Active at night. Feeds on allochthonous resources, such as beetles, and autochthonous aquatic invertebrates, such as insect larvae and gastropods based on gut contents of 8.2 cm SL specimen (Ref. 93811).
