Remarks Inhabits coastal waters and lagoons (Ref. 9303). Feeds mainly on plant detritus (Enteromorpha and Rhizoclonium); also invertebrates (bivalves, crustaceans, nematoda, polychaetes, foraminifera), insects, and small fishes (gobiids, eleotrids, engraulids, clupeids, poeciliids, and atherinids) (Ref. 94655).
