Remarks Dwells in rocky and coral reefs, sand, and seagrass areas. Prefers shallow waters. Feeds on hard shelled invertebrates, gastropods and sea urchins (Ref. 9773). Inhabits coral reefs and adjacent rubble, sand and seagrass habitats (typically along the edges of coral rich fringing reef slopes). Feeds mainly on hard-shelled invertebrates, especially mollusks.
