| Remarks | Spawning peaks in March or April but continues throughout the year. Spawning aggregations, which are easily caught with nets, have been reported to occur on the fifteenth and sixteenth day of the lunar month, over sand flats, in shallow water near the outer reef edge. A northward migration from the Rock Islands along the west coast of Babeldaob, to the tip followed by a southward movement has also been reported. Also Ref. 10494. |
