| Remarks | Large schools are found on the barrier reef flat. By the the early 70's catches in Ngeremlengui greatly diminished. Spawning reportedly occurs throughout the year, from the new moon through the fifth day of the lunar month along the outer and inner edges of the barrier reef. Catches using droplines are made around dusk, after spawning takes place (Ref. 2928). Also Ref. 10494. |
