Description of culture system |
The culture site was in Puttalam lagoon. Fingerlings obtained from nursery pens were stocked in two pens and fed with low cost feeds. |

Description of Nutrient input |
The fish were fed artificial feed of 20 % protein consisting of rice bran and fish meal used at a ratio of 8:2. The manually mixed feed was given daily at 3 % of the body weight. |
